Food causes a response after it is digested. That response may be healthy or stressful.
A healthy food response gives energy to the body.
Unhealthy food response adds stress to the body.
This test is developed by Dr. Coca during the 1950's through the 1980's. He discovered that when we eat food our body will respond by increasing our heart rate. (Pulse) Note: Cold or Hot food will cause a temporary increase in pulse as the body works to bring the temperature of the food to that of the body. Do not test pulse after eating cold or hot foods for at least 15 minutes. The results will only reflect the bodies temperature change to the food.
If we are sensitive, to the food eaten, our heart rate can increase significantly.
If we are not sensitive, to the food, then our heart rate only increases slightly.
By learning to use the pulse meter, pictured above, you can discover what foods may be causing some of your health problems.
Note: This test is not the same as a food allergy test.
