Insulin is one of our biggest health problems. If your stomach is bigger than your hips you have an insulin resistance problem and are headed for real health problems. Read this paper I put together about Insulin Resistance! ________________________________ Insulin is released by your pancreas when you eat foods high in carbohydrates. Here are some of the common foods and their carbohydrate counts. Eating to lose weight requires that you eat foods that are 10 carbs or less per serving. The diet will consist of fatty meats and non-starchy vegetables mostly while you are working to lower your insulin numbers. You may not lose weight until your insulin numbers get below 10 on the fasting insulin test. Insulin triggers fat storage around the belly so it becomes necessary to lower insulin levels to lose belly fat.
